Gamma Gems Chapter Herstory

On March 23, 2002, a new chapter of Eta Omega Tau Sorority, Inc. was chartered on the Bowling Green campus of Western Kentucky University by 5 dedicated women with sparkling personalities, exquisite character, divine charm, and royal wit.

These five women sought to make a difference in Greek Life on the "Hill," and they did this as they became Westerns first historically Multi-Cultural social and service sorority.

The Gamma Gems are "True Queens of Pink and Black" and each day they add new definitions to the Sorority in the areas of Service, Professionalism and Love of Sisterhood.

With their values, confidence and love of life, the Gamma Gems continue to shine as they successfully establish a positive name for themselves in life.
